\n50 % of the net material costs for renewal and upgrading or new construction of fences for sheep, goats and calves (young cattle up to 12 months); the prerequisite is that the fence exceeds the minimum requirements of a standard electric fence and ensures basic protection against large predators (recommendations of the Austrian Centre for Bear, Wolf and Lynx).

\n<\/strong>50 % of the net material costs for GPS trackers for sheep and goats.
\nLivestock guardian dogs:
\n<\/strong>The purchase of livestock guardian dogs can be supported; the amount will be decided on a case-by-case basis (minimum 150 sheep).\n\n\t\t\tSalzburg\t<\/h4>\n\tFence material:
\n<\/strong>Investments for retrofitting or purchasing new fences, including accessories, for implementing livestock protection. 50% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of \u20ac3,000. No new application is possible within a 5-year period.\nGPS tracker:
\n<\/strong>50% covers the cost of a new device, up to a maximum of \u20ac80.00 per unit. Sheep and goats aged one year and older, with a minimum of 60 days spent on alpine pastures, are eligible. Depending on the herd size, a maximum of three GPS collar transmitters will be subsidized, with a total subsidy of up to \u20ac240. No new application is permitted within a five-year period.\nLivestock guardian dogs:
\n<\/strong>Schafe: bis 200 Schafe – 50 % der Anschaffungskosten von zwei Herdenschutzhunden, maximal 1.100 \u20ac pro Hund.
\nFor farms with 200 or more sheep, one additional livestock guardian dog is eligible for funding for every additional 100 sheep, but no more than 4 dogs.
\nOther farm animals: 50 % of the acquisition costs after individual review, maximum \u20ac1,100 per dog for a maximum of 4 dogs.<\/strong>\n
